Briana is an award winning singer-songwriter, passionate about writing and performing many genres of music. Her eclectic writing technique and diverse sound covers a lot of ground. Her main styles as a performer are Jazz / Adult Contemporary and Adult Alternative, similar to artists such as Norah Jones, Sade, Adele and Sting. Briana has her own unique sound regardless of genre (Pop, Jazz, Folk, Country). This former classically trained vocalist believes all styles have a way of crossing over and are interconnected.

Her music has been licensed in stores and on multiple T.V. networks globally. Her sheet music and scores “All I Want”, “Sunlight After Midnight”, “Disguise”, “All Around Me, It’s Christmas” are available in the store along with more cool stuff! She is a member of SAG-AFTRA, Guild of Music Supervisors, The Society of Composers and Lyricists, and a voting member of The Recording Academy.

Briana has been asked by legendary award winning film composer Christopher Young, to be a lyricist and vocalist on some of his original works. She has collaborated with Broadway star and 68th Tony Awards performer Christine Dwyer (Rent, Wicked, Murder Ballad, Finding Neverland) who has been a featured artist on four of Briana’s songs, “All Around Me, It’s Christmas, “It’s Christmas Time and I Feel Love”, “Mangifera” and “Fame”. Briana is an advocate for many charities, human rights, animal welfare, the environment (global warming and climate change), breast cancer… She recorded three Public Service Announcements for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. She licensed her award winning song, “Take a Walk With Me” to Susan G. Komen as a donation for use in their 2010 National Campaign. “Take a Walk With Me” is on a short list of approved licensed songs with artists such as Melissa Etheridge. She graduated from Berklee College of Music and received Berklee’s “BEST” Scholarship. She is a Berklee College of Music Alumni Ambassador and a TA for their Berklee Online Music Business Foundations course through Coursera.org.
